WOW!! The reciever is clearly a Mackay -- I recognize
it from the Osterman book on comm rcvrs.

I'll bet the whole thing is Mackay -- they were known
as Mackay Radio and Telegraph at one time. That's
probably where the poster got "telegraph" from. Mackay
made a lot of shipboard transmitters and receivers,
and eventually became ITT Mackay Marine.
