[NJARC] Problems viewing streaming video files on our website

To Nick Senker (and anyone else who has been unable to view some of the
videos on the NJARC website):

A while back I posted a notice that the then-new upgrade to Internet
Explorer 7 (IE7) had been reported to be causing some people trouble
viewing video files. See: http://www.njarc.org/IE7.htm.

I would have figured they'd have fixed the problem regarding playing
Microsoft Windows Media Video files in Microsoft's own Internet Explorer
browser by now, but it seems they may not have. The reason I couldn't
play those files on my computer at the meeting the other night was
because I had apparently let it upgrade Internet Explorer during one of
the many "nag" announcements that kept popping up advising me that the
upgrade was available. I hadn't followed my own advice!

I suspect that if you downgrade your browser to version 6 you will find
that the problem goes away. Instructions are available at
http://www.wikihow.com/Downgrade-to-Internet-Explorer-6. If you do this,
please let me know if it worked for you. Another option: you can install
the Firefox browser which plays the files just fine.
