Alex,
"Radio News" magazine (a Gernsback publication) was also a big
contributor of articles about auto radio, especially from the time period
between 1929 and 1930. Have Chris contact me at my email address, and I'll
be more than glad to share with him the little tidbits of information I know
on the subject, and perhaps scans of articles in the aforementioned and
other publications.

PS: Just for fun: Chevrolet offered a sedan model of their 490 series in
1922 as a car specifically made for picking up radio broadcasts! Their was
also a Ford turned into a "Radio Flivver" in 1924, that was publicised in a
issue of "QST" magazine that year.
