I bet the converter box will cost more than the average cost of a new tv

Greetings fellow enthusiasts:

Our congress over taxes us, and now sees fit to give some of it back to
us in the form of vouchers. As you probably know, in thirteen months, the
NTIA will end analog TV transmission. So for all of you rabbit ear
antenna types, starting today, you can apply for up to two government
vouchers of forty dollars each. These vouchers must be put towards the
purchase of digital to NTSC converter boxes, one to each non cable or
satellite TV receiver. Funny thing, the vouchers expire in ninety days,
and there is no place to buy a converter at this time. But the program
states vouchers will be sent out after the boxes arrive on the market.
