[NJARC] Advice needed

Greetings

I am restoring my radiola 111 and its balanced amp.  I have an article by Mr. Owens form the OTB Aug. 2003 on substitutes for  the WD-11.  I want to rebase a 1A5, but Mr Owens does not describe how to free the 1A5 from its base.  Any ideas on that subject would be appreciated.  I also would like to buy 4 1A5's from someone at our next NJARC meeting.
