[NJARC] Advice Needed:

Al -

Agreed, I probably have suffered from the same syndrome. I guess better
sitting at home than being out, at least from my perspective. It is not
unique to this reflector. It seems often than the simplest questions get a
barrage of replies all essentially saying the same thing. Usually, I like to
read all of the responses before I respond, so as not to make me look too
stupid. It just happened, since I did not watch the big ball fall I was
awake real early (since 2 AM) and was the first to answer Joe's question. I
am not claiming my reply was 100% on the nose, but, I figured a guy with a
ham ticket and who was able to bring back the radio to life, could certainly
read between the lines. As an example - you mentioned bias on the output
tubes, well, I just said total current. If the bias was off on those babies
they would really glow and, I do not think the audio would be as good as Joe
mentioned. OK, time for my nap, wish you all the best of happiness and
health and lots of new radios in 2008. - Mike

Hi Mike,

Well, actually, I just responded to the original post, and was a little
embarrassed to fine 17 others that pretty we'll covered the situation. I
think everyone is just sitting around on New Years Day with nothing
better to do.

Best regards,
Al
