A short term crisis has developed at InfoAge and we need your help. The last item holding up the transfer of the H buildings to InfoAge is the asbestos remediation of window caulking in some windows. As you may know, InfoAge (with approval) has a great deal of material stored in one or two areas of the H buildings as well as many vintage military vehicles and parts belonging to MTMNJ group. We had an agreement with the contractor doing the remediation that they only needed 10 foot access around the interior of the building and so all the items were relocated to the center of the rooms. Well, stupid beaurocracy rules and the Army project manager now says that ALL ITEMS IN THE AFFECTED ROOMS MUST BE REMOVED BY MONDAY. (Your tax dollars at work!!). So all available hands are needed on Saturday and maybe Sunday to accomplish the move. This includes the RCA broadcast transmitter etc. that we have stored there. The stuff includes furniture, partitions, building material, computers, appliances etc that must be moved about 300 feet to another room. All the floors are smooth concrete, no thresholds and rolling equipment including a forklift are available. Workday starts at 8:30 AM but any help for any hours at any time will be greatly appreciated. All InfoAge groups are involved in this effort so let's show-em that we can do our share. I will try to keep you posted of progress and if any thing changes, so check in every day.
Ray
