[NJARC] 7094 Tetrode Tube

John,
Depending on the inverse voltage peaks of the circut it's installed
in, there's a possibility the 866jr, made by Taylor could work. If the
voltage and current are low enough, possibly even a 83.
IMHO, the 816 would work best though. If you need any; 816's (and a few
others) R us. I'd be glad to give you a few.
BTW, globe enveloped 866/866A's prices are through the roof and difficult to
obtain. Even moreso with their WE counterpart, the 249B. A WE 249B is a drop
in replacement for any circut using a 866/866A that has issues with arcing
over and flashback. Their ratings are slightly different and require a
little more filamentry current. Conversly, they're able to "stand the gaff"
where ordinary 866A's won't.
Hope you had a terrific Holiday, and a very Happy "Boxing day" to you!
Joe Cro N3IBX
