[NJARC] 7094 Tetrode Tube

Hi Scott,
Somewhere, I have an article on converting the HT-41 to 811A's or 572B's or some other power triode. The 7094's had a reputation for not being very rugged. I have no first-hand experience with them, but that's what I've read. They may resemble the 813 electrically, but they're not nearly as rugged. It's always been the "rap" on that tube.
I'll see if I can find the article for you. I'm certainly *not* recommending conversion, but it's a good thing to keep in your hip pocket as a last resort.
Also, I would recommend Solid-State replacements for the 866's. I'm curious how others feel about that. Frankly, mercury-vapor tubes make me nervous....
Regards,
John
