Hello Steve,
The only "Triad" company that I know of is the "Triad Transformer Corporation" of somewhere in Southern California. I don't know if the two companies are realted, but "Triad" isn't a very common name. I wonder of there was a connection between the company that mde your TV, and the transformer company?

Do you know what make of transformers it has in it? Just curious.

Possinly someone on the NJARC reflector may have more information on yoiur particular set.

Good Luck and Best Regards,
                                            Joe Cro N3IBX

Does anyone have any information on Trad?

We recently got a Trad projection set for the museum. It was made in Asbury Park, NJ by Tradiovision Corp.(also Trad Television Corp.), run by two brothers from 1948 through the 50s. They made three commercial projection sets, the model 9, 13 and 14, and at least one home non-projection set, the model 20. In 1951 they apparently had a partnership with Motiograph, a manufacturer of movie projectors, to make a theater TV system
