[NJARC] Thursday at InfoAge

On this coming Thursday, InfoAge will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Project SCORE (Signal Communications by Orbiting Relay Satellite).  This was a super secret project to orbit an Atlas missile body containing recorders that could repeat on short waves messages that had been relayed up to the satellite.  This was to demonstrate our satellite prowess after the two Sputniks were orbited but was kept a tight secret less it fail.  Camp Evans was involved and those in on the project were referred to as the club of 88, there were only 88 individuals in on it.  There will be a presentation and refreshments starting at 6:30 PM in the lounge.

Also there will be a cake cutting to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the incorporation of InfoAge.
