Hey John,
yes some of us are that old !!!

I grew up in manhattan in the east village, and I remember a fruit and
vegitable horse drawn wagon. I even remember the day JFK died, my mom wept.
I even remember my first plane ride, where all the men wore suits and ladies
dresses. Ahh those were the days :)

Tom

Hi Marty,

You remember the ice man with a horse-drawn wagon???
Aw, come on, Marty, you CAN'T be THAT old! ;-)

How about:

Fallout Shelter signs

Duck and Cover drills

Sonic Booms

Local kiddie TV shows (every market had several)

Beatle Haircuts for kids

When TV was *only* channels 2 thru 13, and most areas
only had the three major networks plus 1 or 2 indy or
public stations.

*****

Aaron, you're a Philly guy -- do you have fond
memories of Shibe Park/Connie Mack Stadium? I sure do!
