Well, I got it aligned, and seems ok, but still has a
little hum. Funny thing- if I pull the plug on the
lamps which illuminate my work desk, and are plugged
into the same outlet bar, it picks up a buzz!
I have the radio back together in its case, and will
try it at a few different locales, to see if the sound
improves. I am kinda happy- it is pulling in stations
like WHAS 840 Louisville, KY, WGY 810, Latham, NY and
CHML, Hamilton Ontario, all with relative ease anc
clarity. And that is using the 20' or so "hank"
antanna!
