[NJARC] Plug Polarity

Hi Everyone-

While I'm recapping the SX-111 Mk1(coming along
nicely, thanks to a tip from Al) I decided to replace
the slightly dodgy looking power cable. I am using a
nice newer 16/2 cord with a moulded plug, which is, of
course, polarized. I am wondering which side of the
wiring should get the wide tab-(It is 2 prong, not a
3)

The set is not an AC/DC, and the wires feed a
transformer . One wire goes through the on/off switch
to the transformer, and separate branch goes through a
fuse and then a large wirewound resistor(2k,8w) then
into the other power cord wire. The other wire goes
through to the transformer. Both sides have caps to
ground.

An easier to picture description would be a large
capital "H" lying on its side, with the transformer at
one side, and the plug at the other. The switch would
be between the trans. and plug on one side, and the
connector between the two sides would be a fuse and
resistor. And, of course, a .01uf cap from each side
to ground.

Is polarity important on this set, or can I just
connect the power wire at random? If so, I'd put the
wide pin on the switch side...

Thanks!
Scott
