Hello All,

Wendy Rejan, the Fort Monmouth Command Historian has asked for help for proof the SCR-300 - Walkie Talkie & the SCR-510 the AN/TRC-1 radio relay were actually designed by the Signal Corps.

Thank you,
Fred Carl

Hi Fred, Melissa and I have been tearing our hair out all week trying to
confirm that the Signal Corps labs developed the SCR-300 walkie talkie
and the AN/TRC-1 radio relay. We need some hard evidence to prove that
we developed these systems. I know that Galvin (later Motorola)
manufactured the SCR-300 and Link manufactured the antrac. I was
thinking maybe a photo of both systems showing the plates would do it as
we have a photo of the SCR-510 that specifically states "Designed by the
Signal Corps, Made by Galvin."
Hope you can help or might know someone who can.

Wendy
