[NJARC] Another Possible Radio Display Opportunity

As I mentioned at the last meeting Fort Monmouth is having a 90th anniversary festival at Ft. Monmouth on Thursday November 8th.  I know that this is a strange date to have it but this Veterans Day weekend and most of the post will then have the weekend off.  We have been asked if we wish to put up a display on the grounds.  Details: it will be in a large tent on the main base, tables and electricity is provided, space is either 10 x 10 or 10 x 20 feet, set-up from 8 to 11 AM on Thursday, take down is 5 to 8 PM.  This is an opportunity to show our stuff to base personnel as well as Monmouth area visitors, the base security will be much easier to deal with during this period and many other activities such as music and fireworks are planned.  I have committed to a military technology history display that I will handle with already committed help.  Due to a personal conflict that weekend I cannot handle anything more therefore if the club or members wish to do a NJARC radio display that day it will have to be organized by others.  If there is any interest, we must make a commitment by Oct. 19th.  Let me know, I have a form to be filled out or I can mail it to any interested parties.
