[NJARC] WWII Amateur Radio Blackout

Hello everyone!

It was lovely to see everyone at the meeting last night and I thoroughly enjoyed Al's presentation.  All so worth the 3 hours travels time!  

Here is a good topic my Dad just brought up:  Does anyone recall (or know much about) the ham radio blackout in the US during WWII?  When did it start and end?  How was it enforced?  How well was it enforced?  Any stories to share with the group?  Thanks!
