[NJARC] RCA Victor C-2E

Joe,

This one is a tough one. There is no doubt the model number is C-2E as that
is what the label on the bottom of the case reads along with serial number
RVA 035503, so this is not a limited addition model as it appears that at
least 35,000 were made. It would be my amateur opinion that this is about
1950's manufacture. But I would favor late. The tube line up is:

Conv. 12BE6
IF Amp 12BA6
Det.-AVC-AF Amp 12AV6
Output 50C5
Rect. 35W4

Inside the plastic ivory case it has inscribed B.M.P.T RCA Dwg. No. 931498.
The printed circuit board (makes me think it is very late 1950's to early
1960's) has a stamp 1188B 305 4. Also the artwork has a silver 961926-2 but
I think that is the artwork number.

Thanks for the help.

Ed, could you supply the approximate vintage and tube lineup? That will help
narrow it down. I have some of the old RCA redbooks (pre-WWII), so if you
can
narrow it down, I may be able to help.

Joe Connor
