Ray,
Excellent points. And we all know you've been involved
with these issues at InfoAge.
But the *real* problem are sites where capacitors and transformers were
*manufactured*, not where they were used. [GE in Pittsfield, MA is a clssic
example]. PCB's at the WOR site could have been dumped by God-knows-who, and
have nothing to do with the old transmitting equipment.
But I give the guy credit for finding us and
contacting us.
I'm just trying to see both sides of the issue, and I
think Alex may be right. Legally, we have no liability
for the WOR site, so why not try to help the guy out?
However, I'm starting to regret my pictture having
appeared in the Broadcaster as a "strict
environmetalist."
