Actually we have no direct information on this site anyway, this guy is
fishing in the wrong pond and we should not get involved in any way
whatsoever.
Well, I may be taking an unpopular stance here, but I've worked with
environmental remediation companies and as far as I ever saw, they
weren't the "bad guys", they were more like the guy at the circus with
the shovel following the elephants. This fellow might just be looking for
a perspective that he hasn't been able to find through most of the
current crop of working professionals. I wonder if he's simply not just
trying to get the best handle he can on the type and scope of PCB
capacitor use, failure modes, decades-old industry practices, etc. Maybe
they're just trying to make sure the site is cleaned up as well as
possible. Could we do anyone any harm by providing information?
