Rob,
Great idea! I am a member and a director of the ETS radio club - the
146.940 2 meter machine in Greenbrook. The repeater's controller is
programmed to send the NBC 3-note signature tune at certain times when
IDing. I understand there were various tone pitches used by NBC over the
years and it took a little experimenting before the club decided on the tone
the repeater uses now.
