Hi Joe,
FAR OUT! We'll have to talk about this stuff sometime,
off-reflector. [So we don't bore our fellow NJARC
members to sleep.] I have not kept up with it, but I
can only imagine what eBay has done to the value of
those 60's Psych and Psych/Pop records. Most of them
were already sought-after collectors' items in the
late 70's when I started collecting.
You're probably right about the Theremin....but
synthesizers were just becoming popular then, and they
might have claimed they were using one when they were
really using the other. They might have been under the
influence of hallucinogens, and not noticed what
instrument they were playing. ;-)
Hey, you're a Philly-area guy -- how about The Nazz?
Later,
JR
