The best one I ever heard was Jeff "Skunk" Baxter,
former guitarist for Steely Dan, is now a
highly-regarded counter-terrorism expert. He was
featured in a page one article in the Wall Street
Journal.

And, of course, Joe Walsh (former Eagles and James
Gang guitarist) is an accomplished radio amateur
(WB6ACU) and boatanchor collector. Fortunately, not
*all* of those old-time rockers fried their brains.
That stupid expression "if you remember the Sixties,
you weren't there" is a lot of hogwash. I'm sure it's
true for *some* hippie burnouts, but not for
everybody.
