** The 80's saw an abundant supply of cheap vintage type equipment. By
the mid-90's, the nostalgic craze really caught on raising the demand for
this stuff and consequently the prices started climbing. Internet
auctions helped fuel the demand and the price.

> 2.. The equipment the gets snapped up the quickest;
** In ham equipment, Collins stuff generally moves fast, especially if
it's priced right. In vintage radio stuff, I have no idea.

** $10 for a National NC-183 D with speaker; Johnson Viking II, with VFO
and mike all for $15; and B&W 5100B with 51SB-B sideband adapter (both
used for about 2 years and then put back in their original cartons and
packing in 1965), both free for the taking, all in the time space of
about 15 minutes in 1988 or 89.

> 2. What item that you sold would you most like to have back.
** Nothing! Everything I ever sold in the way of equipment was decided by
me in a conscience manner that it was time for it to go.

> 3. What item that you passed up do you most regret not buying.
** Don't remember anything I ever saw that I most regretted buying
although I do remember passing up a Collins 32V2 for $90 at one time.
