Very impressive growth thru 2006. Im a bit surprised.. I wonder if that
trend is expected to continue, level off OR go the other way with the
proliferation of web casting and other WWW forms of communication? I hope not but I
don't think the general public - especially in very developed parts of the
world - understand the major difference and benefits of broadcast over-the-air
programming and cable and/or WWW based broadcasts? Can anyone imagine a time
when nothing is broadcast over the air and the only programming you can have
access to is with a direct, subscribed connection? In the Iron Curtain days
the only ways they could deal with broadcast information were jammers - but
people still listened. With the WWW it's the opposite issue - you get only
what "they" want you to get. AND they can know when you get it ...
