[NJARC] Hamfests This Weekend

Pete:

     I'm sorry I missed New Providence. That's a great bunch of guys. I
spent the evening under the hood of my new R-390A. For grins, I bought a St.
Julien's refugee. With a lot of advice from the guys on the R390A list, I've
got it running pretty well. I still have quite a bit to do but I think this
set is going to turn into a real keeper.

    Are you going to be at the Split Rock show? Last year, there weren't a
whole lot of boatanchors. It's an indoor show and I think a lot of guys are
reluctant to lug the heavy sets inside. Nevertheless, there's a lot of neat
stuff to look over.

    I can't wait for Oakland. There are always some interesting things
there. (And I'm still kicking myself for the NC 2-40D that I passed up last
year!).
