Hi Joe,

I didn't even get a chance to *try* the Apache yet.
But I *did* get a chance to check out a friend's B+W
5100B on the bench. That's a great rig too! That's
part of the problem -- I've taken on a few outside
vintage radio (and 1 jukebox) projects recently that
got in the way of studying the ARRL General guide,
etc. 

All this reflector talk *does* give me the incentive
to get off my butt and renew/upgrade!

Eugene, if you passed a 13 WPM or 20 WPM code test,
that's a heck of an accomplishment. Congratulations!

Due to a disaster in the R+D Department, Johnnytronics
will *not* be submitting a HB Contest entry this year.
Such is life....
