Hey Guys:
I'm really proud....our club is 'something else'....what great
members...generous, helpful...and handsome hihi...
A Special thanks to Marty...for inviting Lenny over...wish I could come
toooo...could always learn sompin'....
Lenny fits right in....he wants to tackle the radio ...and have the fun of
'doing'....
Thanks toooo...for getting me out of my hole....really curious to know what
changed in the 6 months....that radio - with those two 45's - really rocked the
casbah...and filled the band with stations....'when last tested' ...as they
say.
By the way....I sent at least 20 emails with detailed pictures to guys across
the US who are actively in the old radio hobby....NOBODY...repeart
nobody...could ID it maker...
Most of the components with labels show New York area....on the underside of
the chassis is this written: "checked OK..J.W. Walker Nov? 1931"
Sincere thanks,
Steve
