[NJARC] Atwater Kent question

Hello Al,
You were right, the wires were hopelessly faded. Using the schematic, I
replaced each with the same color up to using a solid Green in place of a
Green with a yellow trace. The matter of the Green with Yellow trace comes
from the hook-up tag that came with the radio. (original tag from Atwater Kent,
June 1926)
So here is the bottom line, I just wanted to verify that the voltages.
The Nostaglia Air (Riders schematic ?) shows no voltages, Beitman's shows
only 2 voltages and the schematic I found from the W3NLB Atwater Kent site
gives a 90v B+ voltage, 22½ v and 67½ v (I am guessing B+ voltage), -4½ v C, and
-6v A voltage.
Al, I just want to make sure that I put the right voltage into this
radio and don't fry 6 good 01A's. All of the coils are good along with the
transformers. I only had to replace two caps, the grid leak resistor and one
other resistor. Everything else checked out OK. In the end, if a part looked OK
and passed the test, it was not touched.
If you would like me to bring it on Friday night, let me know. I can
bring the power supply and speaker to try it out.
Regards and thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe,
The metal weight will normally go on the detector tube to damp out
microphonics.
I'm not sure I understand the rest of the question. Can you tell which
wire is which color? They're often hopelessly faded.
Standing by,
Al
