[NJARC] Catalin Radio Auction in NYC

Flash!!  Who says the economy is weak??  At the Bonham's auction this morning in NYC 211 catalin radios, 6 advertising signs and a couple of misc. lots sold for a whopping total of $946,500 plus tax (2% off if paying in cash, certified check or funds transfer).  Amazingly, one buyer bought somewhere around half the items.  Two Airking model 52 "skyscrapers", one in red and one in lavender sold for a total of $93,000.  Top sale item was an onyx Symphony Split Grill for $51,000.  This was one mans collection.
