Mark,
WHWH 1350 AM (owned by Multi-Cultural Broadcasting) is recently
back on the air. They're going through a testing phase right now among other
things. The Chief Engineer is also the temp Program Director which gives him
some latitude to play just about anything he feels like until they nail
something more permanent down. The music selections are coming from a
computer at his house via landline to the tx site. I've already expressed my
views that they should keep things the way they are. I like it.

I got to know the Chief Engineer pretty well since he called me on the
telephone one evening when I was transmitting on 1885KC, in the 160M Amateur
Band, and he was sweeping the Medium Wave band looking for various activity,
and heard my AM signal on that frequency. We both exchanged signal reports!

The tx site is actually located in Blawenburg,NJ, and puts out a pretty
healthy signal.

We NEED more music stations on the AM band!

Just my two cents worth.........

Best Regards,
                    Joe Cro N3IBX
