Hi,
Jerry brought his Jewett battery radio into the e-shop here at InfoAge. He
has been unable to find information for it. It looks like a very
unconventional set to me (but I don't work with stuff this old often). I am
asking for any help you can provide. It is a two dial battery set with three
tuned circuits, the first at the antenna stage looks moderately normal. The
second two stages are identical and are definitely strange.

The variables seem to be semi-inductive with capacitor plates separated by
what seems to be spiral wound coils; as if the inductors are embedded in the
variables and used as plates? Has anyone seen anything like this? Also, it
seems that the audio and rf stges may in an odd order. To see more would
require more disassembly that I am comfortable with but I wonder if this
might be using some reflexed stages?

Help.
Steve Goulart
