Out of curiosity I tried to determine what you have and ended up going
in circles on this one. From a 1941 manufacture's directory, R.P.C. most
likely stands for Radio Products Corp., located at 3800 W Cortland St.,
Chicago, Ill. Brands used were "Camden", "Continental", "Co-op",
"Crusader", "Dayrad" and "Supertone".
When I went to the Continental listing things got interesting. There the
manufacture was listed as "Continental Radio & Telev. Corp., 3800 W.
Cortland St., Chicago, Ill. And one of the brand names listed for this
company was "Admiral". This later became "Admiral Corporation" at guess
where? 3800 W. Cortland St., Chicago, Ill. Other names listed were
"Fearnola", "Globe Trotter", "Marshall", "Oriole", "Roadmaster",
"Slagle", "Sunbeam", "Radiomaster", and "Wondertone".
I found a picture in the Stein "PreWar Consoles" book of a Camden model
935-11A circa 1939. It has three verticle bars in the center of the
speaker grill and the top is rounded with a slide rule dial appearing in
the middle of the rounded part. The picture is fuzzy, but appears to
have 4 controls and about 15 push buttons or maybe they are a design.
Does this sound like your radiio? A picture and tube layout might help
in further identifying it.
Where are you located in South Jersey? I'm in the Mount Holly area.
