***Are my responses...

I wonder if you've overreacted to this? eBay's policy seems to be a little
fuzzy on the subject.
***EBay's policy clearly states that NAZI items are prohibited.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
And, from a VP of the NJARC at that. Nazi radios are not banned from ebay.
***I beg to differ, since I reported the radio to ebay and it was
immediately removed.
I was sent an email from them apologizing that it had been listed.

Are you suggesting that any forum that allows selling German radios of WWII
vintage be banned? What do you collect?
***As the selling of NAZI items are banned in France, and in Germany, so yes
I do. It was a dark era in our history. What I don't collect are infamous
items.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was keeping quiet until I saw a couple of other posts regarding the Nazi
radio. Should we suppress history or preserve certain things to remind us of
what was and what could become again?
***Being reminded of the past is one thing, buying a NAZI radio and
restoring it and enjoying is another.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Most people look at my Nazi radio with a degree of shock. Prior to seeing it
people only had contact with the atrocities from a history book or the
suffering of older friends and relatives. Believe me, you see the impact on
their faces.
***I think if I were Jewish I would be more a look of disgust. And it is in
that vain that I protested the selling of NAZI radios on ebay.

So I leave you all with my final thoughts on this... How would you feel if
walked into your neighbors house and saw a working restored NAZI radio, and
you were Jewish?

Respectfully

Thomas Lee
