A DISPLAY AND DEMONSTRATION OF CLASSIC TELEPHONES (CIRCA 1900 – 1930)
BY STEVE ADAMEC, SELECTED FROM HIS PERSONAL COLLECTION.

In 1899 J. V. B. Wicoff, Henry Jeffers, Sr. and E. L. Mount signed an
agreement with the Farmers and Traders Telephone Company and brought
telephone service to Plainsboro for the first time.  By 1927 this
company was serving Plainsboro, Cranbury, Hightstown, East Windsor, West
Windsor, Penns Neck, Dutch Neck, Princeton Junction, Lawrence Station,
Etra, Prospect Plains, Applegarth and Union Valley.  The company was
sold to Bell Telephone in 1930.
