Dave -
That's an interesting read. I would like to see the finished
piece when it becomes available. Traffic circles (in my opinion) are just
another piece of Americana gone by the wayside. In the 20's 30's and 40's,
cars were a handful to drive (compared to today's vehicles). As such, people
were more attentive and curdious to other drivers. Todays vehicles are so
refined and easy to drive so that people have become dangerously aggressive
at times, not to mention the number of distractions that are present in the
vehicle itself ie: cell phones, televisions, gps, etc. Ham radios are ok
finnnne so please don't attack me. :) I remember as a young lad walking
across the RT#1 / RT/#130 circle walking to the bowling alley from my
Grandmother's house on Saturday mornings.
