I have been culling my electrolytic capacitor stock. I have several
dozen that are excess to my needs. Some of the boxes are crumbling but
all of the cans are bright and shiny. They are all new old stock
electrolytics (two, three and some four caps per can) that I picked up
as a box lot in Houston, TX at the VRPS(Vintage Radio and Phonograph
Society) auction a few years ago. Just about all of them are in the
150 to 300 volt range, a bit low for the stuff I collect but OK for
AC/DC consumer radios. Those that I have used to date, about two dozen
or so, have reformed nicely with no problems.
10 days ago I offered the above to the NJARC capacitor program but
received no response. So before I put them on eBay, does anyone have a
need for a specific value?
Whatever I have that is close to what you need will be checked,
reformed and sent to you for the cost of postage, plus a buck.
Regards,
Jim
