[NJARC] Capacitors

Both assumptions are correct. Series caps work like parallel resistors,
i.e. two 12s in series make a 6. Also nonpolarized caps are in effect the
connection of two polarized caps connected negative to negative, using the
two positives as the leads.

Bob,
I may be showcasing my ignorance but I seem to remember hearing that you can
back-to-back two 12 mfd polarized capacitors to make one 6 mfd
non-polarized. Can anybody confirm or deny this?
