Lots of good things happening.
1. On Monday the 23rd, a group went to the Iridium club in New York City to
present Les Paul with his Broadcasters Hall of Fame award. Dave Sica was
along and we wait with bated breath his video of the event along with his
video of the Induction ceremony recently held at InfoAge.
2. A local Boy Scout, Jeff Sidel will be re-roofing the guard shack to earn
his Eagle Scout award. Quite a project for a youngster, if you would like
to assist, he will be working at it from 0800 this Saturday and be at it
most of the day.
3. November 12th has been designated as Open House at InfoAge for InfoAge
members only. This is a prequel for opening all present parts of InfoAge
every Sunday afternoon. We could use a couple of extra museum volunteers
that day and do not be reluctant to sign up for a regular museum guide tour
duty on any Sunday afternoon. Harry Klancer will be delighted to add your
name to the roster. Share your passion for radio history and collecting.
Harry is at: 732-238-1083 or Klancer2 at comcast.net.
