[NJARC] Help

Hi Guys . I know that I posed this situation one time before , however it  
still continues . I listen to an AM standards station , from Long Island  , WHLI 
 ,1100 AM .I am on Staten Island , and use a G E  Super  Radio to acquire the 
reception . The signal  I   receive  contains various " whistles , pops" 
,etc., Until my wife's   VCR  turns on . At that moment all the background noises 
stop , until the  VCR turns off .  If I unplug the VCR , the interference 
stops also ,  however I will be divorced since the Soap Operas  , will not be 
recorded .  Suggestions ? Thanks.  Bob Ryan .
