[NJARC] aircraft freqs

    Dear Jim,
  The reason you here only one side of the conversation is the 
 transmission is line of sight,and unless you live by the ground 
 transmitters,you won't hear both ends of the conversation.They
 use the same freqs and if the pilots and ground control talk at
 the same time,you would hear a loud squeel.In some critical 
 situations,we monitor two different freqs in case one is blocked.
