Hi,
The electronics shop at Infoage is now available. There are currently four workbenches and the promise of enough test equipment to equip them. Infoage is located in Wall Township and will be easier for some members to get to which may be of interest to those currently geographically challenged by Sarnoff.
The e-shop will be an addition to the current repair clinics. I am planning to provide bench space, test equipment and tools, without one to one expert assistance as the standard. This will allow much more availability and technical assistance will be available.
For now, the repair sessions will be like those at Sarnoff (run off of extension cords and out of members tool boxes) but we plan to stock tools, parts and equipment on site soon. Also Fred Carl has us on the list for additional power and lighting.
Once the shop is equipped I am planning to make it available at least one day/night? a week and by appointment. Also limited storage is available so if a project isn't completed in a night it can be shelved at Infoage. If you are interested let me know what the best schedule would be.
