Hi Marv,

This is good news. Thanks for getting it set up. I hope you are
using Adobe to format the files. If so, put me on the list --
oldradio at worldnet.att.net If you are planning to email MS Word
document files, then don't email them to me. There are too many
viruses associated with word files.

Here's a suggestion which makes things simpler. Email one copy of
the Adobe version of the newsletter to Dave and have him post it on
our web site. Once posted, email the URL to the members.

The new newsletter can be on a secret location so just members can
see it, and download it if they want to. And a couple of months
later it can be moved to a regular on-line location to encourage new
members to read it and sign up. This will also allow members to
re-read old issues if they want to.

Just a thought. This is what some of the local ham clubs do and it
works great.

By the way, if we can get all the members to sign up for our
reflector, you will only need to email once to the reflector and
everybody will be notified, and you won't have to worry about always
changing email addresses on your list. (Don't try to email the
newsletter to the reflector - it won't go through.)
