Hi Nick:

Suggestion: use a "trans saver"...a series-wired light bulb in the primary 
AC...just in case your xmfr shorts out...the bulb will light and prevent the 
house fuse from blowing...

I use mine all the time....thanks to the helpful advice/construction from 
Dave Goodwin...

...seems like I'm lighting the bulb often with mine...as I make some very 
interesting "wire arrangements"...

This unit is extremely beneficial when plugging in a "new" radio for the very 
first time...
