[NJARC] Novice Rigs

The AF-67 was, and still is, a pretty good little transmitter. When I =
first
moved up to NJ and lived in an apartment in 1991, I used to use a AF-67 =
on
the air matched with a HRO-500. Some combination. But with that =
combination
and a piece of wire from my balcony to the trees, I was able to QSO all =
over
the country on 160 through 40 meter AM. -=20

There was an HR-10b that went around my neighborhood with a Multi-Elmac
AF-67.  Think at least 3 different guys used them until they upgraded or
dropped it.
