NJARC members:
I have been very fortunate to have recently assembled a huge collection
of early radio related films. I'm in the process of putting them on the
NJARC website as streaming video and I urge you to check them out.
There's some really great stuff: shots of radios and electronics going
back to the twenties and thirties, old communications receivers, military
radios in use during World War II. Several RCA films from the dawn of
electronic television. Phonographs. Even lots of interesting stuff about
the telephone and telegraph systems of yesteryear.
The videos are on our IPTV page: http://www.njarc.org/streaming. I'll be
adding new videos regularly for the forseeable future, so check the site
often.
This is all modest resolution (320x240) streaming video, but it's quite
watchable. And we'll have full-quality copies available in the club's
video library on VHS and DVD for you to borrow if you'd like.
Also new: the television coverage of our last swapmeet in Parsippany is
now online. Very nice.
Enjoy!
