Hi Alex,

No, I don't think so.  I'm sure in all the time we worked together, 
he would have mentioned that.  Sooy is a well known and an old name 
in this part of southern New Jersey.  I'm pretty sure his roots are 
local to this area.  He would be in his 90's now I guess, or older, 
if still alive.
