Fred,
My advice is to first form a plan. Get some qualified advice from
those familiar with the law and with broadcast technology. Decide
what's best for InfoAge, then let us know what you need. I'm sure
we'll find it or buy it for you.
While the item below looks real good, there may be license problems
or other reasons it won't work out for the site.
You may want to look into getting an actual AM broadcast license or
one of the limited power FM licenses for the site. Having a working
broadcast station would be good for the site and a would be a lot of
fun for us and would attract more volunteers to help run the station I'm sure.
My Dad always told me, before you build anything get a plan or draw
it out so you know what it will look like when it's done. When you
see the completed plan/drawing you may not like it - and changing it
then is much cheaper and better than after it's built. Dad was a
cabinet maker. His advice has always been good for me and I think
his advice applies well here.
