Hello Dave,
Regarding your TRF set and the type of tubes it uses, the answer is
"it all depends"
You can try to get a schematic for the particular model that you have and
that will give you the info you need. Lots of club members have the
Riders schematics or the Beitmans schematics, but you can also find a lot
of this info on websites such as Nostalgia Air
http://www.nostalgiaair.org/
It should be listed under "Resources" then "Montgomery Ward",
and listed by model number. If it's not there, post the model number
on the reflector, and I'm sure some club member can look it up.
