QST QST DE W1FRV ( First Radio Voice ) @ Brant Rock - Western Tower

You no longer need a Short Wave set and long wire antenna to hear the BBC...

Poke around cyber space and find the BBC Radio 3 bitstream, then tune
in on December 23rd @ 1940Z for a production of Fessenden 100th
anniversary...

Same for BBC World Service but different program @ 2332Z on December 19th...

BBC is loud and clean in Brant Rock... ( The Colonies )

=

Hams who plan on visiting 'BO' @ Brant rock over the Holidays...
The 6% scale antenna is yours to hook on to and tune to your favorite
ham band...
You need a 20-30' coax with good sized clip leads on the antenna end...
Try to stay off the grass and there is an A.C. outlet available
nearby too... Bring an extension cord...
You must provide your own RV or other creature comforts... There is
no water or sanitation facility there...

W1FRV will be in operation from tomorrow, Sunday 17th., until about
the first week in January...
QSL W/SASE to: RAF.NESCO BOX 686 BRANT ROCK, MA 02020

ARRL and K2CX have dibs on the facilities December 29 and 30...

If you find this interesting then please pass it on... TNX DE Dave
